I received this email late last night from a good friend and student, Addison Rice.
I thought you might appreciate it :-)
(It was a little long, so I'm only sending you the first part today)

Hey Jesse,
I've been following your videos and emails for years now, but something happened today that made me realize exactly why I do.
You see, every day I make a point of taking my mind vitamin ;-) and I like to think that I generally have a pretty enlightened view of the world...
But yesterday, shit hit the fan.
Some things came to a head in my relationship that had been building up for a while, and as enlightened as I thought myself, I turned into the Hulk.
Total Primal Rage Mode.
Yet at the same time, I was watching myself...
I just FELT so much...
And feeling it made me realize that it's been a LONG time since I really felt ANYTHING.
I'd been stuck in my head, and all your amazing teachings had only been sinking in skin deep.
But now I was out.
Out of my mind.
Flailing, revelling in the Pain, the Anger, the Sadness at what had come to an end...
Weeping with Joy at the memories I hadn't revisited and Appreciated for the last two years...
I had to question myself and reassess...
And I was Forced to step into my POWER and take responsibility for what was going to happen tomorrow, the next day, and every day after that.
Like you always say, "the Future belongs to those who take Responsibility for it Today."
And something crazy happened.
I stayed up late talking to a good friend (the one who connected you and I in the first place) and I Broke Through.
Levelled Up.
Let Go of my Fear...
And all at once got swept up in the wave of my own APC.
Basically, all of the wisdom you've shared with me for the past couple years that laid dormant in the back of my conscious mind...
It sank in.
And what happened next changed everything...

Tune in tomorrow for the rest of Addison's email.
I think you'll find it quite inspirational.
:-)
Peace & Power
Jesse Elder
P.S. This video will give you context for the rest of Addison's story. |
