Friend,
I write poetry sometimes, though I don't always share it...
Last week I published a poem on Facebook that generated quite a bit of feedback, so I thought I'd share it with you :-)
It's not short, so I'm only going to leave you with the first few stanzas, and you can hop over to Facebook if you'd like to see the rest.
Here goes:
If you have a message
And you are called to lead
and you refuse to believe in
the sacrifice of your vision
or your values for the sake
of the almighty dollar...
For those who are turned off by fake pics
and false appearances
in an attempt to be credible...
For those who just
want to love
through service
and let your light
out into the world...
Stop fracturing your focus
by grasping at the straws
thrown at you by a world that
doesn't know what the Voice
sounds like when it whispers
to you in the middle of the night...
