My Mentor Jesse Elder: a fine thing indeed

I've observed that this whole Life thing is easier when you've got the practical stuff taken care of.

Food.

Shelter.

Safety.

Family and Relational needs.

Plenty of energy.

Connection to whatever you think created you, or where you came from.

Enough money to honor your desires to give, grow and gain.

Seems like most of us figure out the first 6.

But that old number 7...

Can be a real sticking point.

Without consistent money (and confident plans to get more of it) even the most enlightened man or woman can feel fearful.

Have you ever watched the numbers drop in your bank account when you pay the bills, and feel that sick sensation in your stomach because you don't know how it will ever get better?

I have.

And I know how bad it sucks, too.

But it doesn't have to stay that way.

Truth is, you only need a handful of things to "make it rain" for yourself consistently.

You need (in no particular order):

1. Competence. An actual skill that makes things better for people. This might NOT be the thing you are trained in, or went to school for... In fact, most of the folks I've worked with make their fastest cash with an entirely new form of value creation, something they couldn't see at first.

2. Caring. You have to actually care about things getting better for the person or people you intend to serve and sell to.

3. People. That's it. The most important ingredient in this money-getting equation. Fellow humans, whom you get to help. And last I checked, there's a ton of them... About 7.4 BILLION.

SO - if you'd like to have more money flowing... And complete the circle of a fulfilled life, here's what you do.

Check your competence. Can you improve, even just a little by each day?

Sure you can :-)

Check your level of Caring. Again, even the most enlightened person on earth can get short sighted, fearful and start cutting corners. Clean up messes, and when you screw up, do the best you can to make it right.

Find People to help.

Heck, find ONE PERSON to help.

Then actually help them.

Pretty soon, you'll be seeing noticeable results. Both for them, and for you.

And that is a fine thing indeed.
