Heads up, today's email is NOT for the faint of heart.
It's raw, and perhaps a bit Rated "R"... but in a good way.
R - For REAL.
Because in this email, I'm going to share with you a POTENT lesson in success that has literally shaped my entire life.
(And anyway... you're not faint hearted.)
Okay - let's proceed.
This one lesson was branded into my soul... Because it saved me.
The Scene:
I was pinned on the mat.
Literally crushed under an opponent who had a solid 50 pounds on me.
I was seconds away from quitting.
Breathing was impossible under the weight and hold my opponent had me in.
My vision was going dim, as my air supply reached critical levels.
I was panicking... And it seemed that tapping out - quitting - was my only way of ending the crushing pain.
But SOME HOW, something put the world on pause...
And in a flash of desperation I heard my coaches voice in my mind.
"Remember..."
"When you are threatened..."
"Buy yourself TIME."
"You must focus...
On IMPROVING your POSITION..."
"Only THEN can you ADVANCE."
These words rang as clear as a bell in my fevered brain.
- Buy time.
- Improve your position.
- Then (only then)... ADVANCE.
Now, the average person fails to see the deep wisdom in those words.
But I clung to them like a life preserver.
And with the wise words of my coach echoing in my mind... I APPLIED them.
I bought time...
Protected my breathing.
Kept my focus.
Took care of the essentials.
I improved my position.
One millimeter at a time, I worked my arms and legs into a better place around my opponents struggling resistance.
Then, after what seemed an eternity...
I advanced.
Working my way around my adversary's defenses, I found an opening and applied a harmless but
unstoppable submission.
And then? The unthinkable.
My opponent, heavier and stronger...
Tapped out.
Quit.
And amidst the roar of the crowd, I was declared the (very grateful) winner.
As I accepted the victory, I knew the truth.
I had won so much more than a match that night.
Because that hard-won lesson stayed with me.
In the years since that match, It's made me achieve things I thought truly impossible.
I've taught this strategy to thousands of people around the world.
And I urge you now to find the "gold nuggets" in it for yourself.

Take action, and don't let anyone tell you that you'll fail.
Because you are a born winner, and if you follow these three steps you'll be celebrating more VICTORY than you've ever thought possible.
